
David Henry Epp
1914 – 1993
David Henry Epp, late of 41056 - #4 Road, Yarrow, passed away April 8, 1993 in Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 78 years. He was born August 15, 1914 in the Kuban Region of Caucasus, Russia.
David was the proprietor of Epp Brothers Hardware in Yarrow for many years, a member of Yarrow United Mennonite Church and he enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his wife Sara; sons Ken (Nancy) Epp of Coquitlam; Victor (Judy) Epp of Cranbrook; daughters Anna (Peter) Maharajh of Burnaby; Gerda (Ed) Dobson of North Vancouver; Evelyn (Louis) Dessaureault of Brossard, Quebec; Darlene (Dr. George) Gray of Chilliwack; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson; sister Frieda (Menno) Unger of Hinton, Alberta; Ella Rempel of Surrey; brothers Abe (Betty) Epp of Vancouver; Henry (Audrey) Epp of Seattle, Washington; George (Adelaide) Epp of Rosedale; Bruno (Gail) Epp of Surrey, B.C.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Jessie and his brother Dick Epp.

Funeral Service was held Monday, April 12th 1993 at Yarrow United Mennonite Church with Rev. Dan Rempel officiating, assisted by Rev. Arnold Fast.
Casket bearers were: Kevin Epp, Peter Maharajh, Abe Epp, Kelly Epp, George Epp and Bruno Epp.
Honorary bearers were Ryan Dodson, Eric Epp, Sean Dessaureault and John Langeman.
Interment was at Yarrow Cemetery.
